Before putting yourself forward for a Trustee role, we recommend that you fulfill the following criteria:

• You have at least 1 year of professional experience

• You have sufficient visibility on your life that you would be able to commit to something for at least 3 years

• You understand that Board roles are typically unpaid, but should be treated with the same level of attention, care and diligence as a paid role in your profession

• You understand that most Board roles involve a degree of legal liability
